Is moving to Dallas worth it?

I currently live in Chicago. I hate the Taxes, cold weather and lack of opportunity and dating scene.I am single have no children. I have been offered the opportunity to relocate to dallas per my job. I am very excited by the idea because it gives me the opportunity to advance much easier per it is a new market for us and no income tax!!! I've only visited Dallas once and I was like 12yrs old. But I want to know if I'll be happy living there. Is there much to look forward to. I don't mind the reduced commotion but I don't want to be bored to death. Will this be an easy transition or does it take getting used to. Was anyone happy about moving to dallas?
