What should i say to the guy i like?

ive liked this guy since november 2010 and hes given me so many signals that he likes me to. today i ran into him at camp and we were talking for a little bit. my other friend came over and asked who he was, he answered "her best friend" (as in my bff). and then he jokingly made me decide who was my best friend out of the 2 of them. and then after, my friend caught him and a bunch of other kids (his friends) looking at me. now i kinda wanna text him but ik hes bad with returning phone calls and texts bc he likes to play "hard to get" (which he told me). so does anyone have any suggestions of what to do?
